Our Story
We started Itterno because we saw families struggling with a problem no one was solving. In 2024, while at the Danish Technical University, we noticed families facing an overwhelming challenge: managing their loved one's digital legacy after they passed away.

Accounts remained active, subscriptions kept charging, and precious memories were scattered across dozens of platforms. Meanwhile, funeral homes and legal professionals had no tools to help. We realized this wasn't just a technical problem—it was a human one. Families needed dignity, clarity, and relief during their most difficult moments. That's why we built Itterno. Today, we're working with leading funeral homes across Denmark to bring peace of mind to families when they need it most.
Our Mission
To bring dignity, clarity, and peace of mind to families during life's most difficult moments by simplifying digital legacy management.
We believe that technology should serve humanity, especially during times of grief. Our platform connects families with funeral homes and provides the tools needed to handle digital affairs with respect, security, and transparency.
The founding team
Three friends from DTU who saw families struggling and decided to do something about it. We started building Itterno in 2024 with a simple mission: bring dignity and peace of mind to families during their most difficult moments. We're backed by Innovation Fund Denmark, Tenity, and X-Tech+, and we're working with leading funeral homes across Denmark. If you're interested in building the future of digital legacy management with compassion and innovation, check out our open roles or get in touch.
